My name is Isaac Wiseman and this account is for my wife Melissa Wiseman. We have been married for 25 years. We got married in 93 as high school sweethearts. She had her gallbladder out in 1993 and her appendix in 1997. Then my wife Melissa was diagnosed with crohn's disease in 1997 and had her first bowel resection in 1998. She has to take 14 different medications every day plus a infusion every six weeks. Melissa was diagnosed with melanoma in 2012 and was taken off immunosuppressive drugs per her gi and her cancer doctor. The melanoma was removed down to the bone on her left ankle and she isnt allowed to take any immunesuppressive drugs. While she was off all her medications this caused her to go into a severe crohns flare. She ended up with two anal fissures, one six inches deep that caused her to have 14 surgeries just to have setons and drains placed to try and heal the fissures but none of the surgeries worked. This left her with the only choice of getting a permanent colostomy bag placed and her rectum removed in 2015. She has had to have iron infusions and blood transfusions since having the colostomy bag placed. She also had to have a total hysterectomy performed in 2016. Melissa unfortunately ended up developing a hernia under her stoma and had a prolapsed stoma. She had surgery again in 2016 to fix her hernia and place a new stoma. She developed pneumonia and became septic. This led to her almost loosing her life but with God looking after her that faithful night and a diligent nurse who found her passed out they rushed her to icu where they quickly began treatment and two weeks later she came home. Melissa has other medical problems such as celiac disease, migraines, kidney stones, restless leg syndrome, depression, anxiety, arthritis in her back, two bulging disk in her back and a tear in her right hip, vitamin d and b12 deficiencies, superficial blood clots, cyst in her breast, nerve damage, blockages from scar tissue in her intestines. Melissa suffers daily with pain and has had shots put in the very bottom of her spine to try and help with the nerve damage she suffered from having her rectum removed. We as a family are asking for help because of mounting medical bills. Melissa has medical bills that we need help paying because I'm the only one working. I work as much as I can and try to make sure she has all her medications each month. Two bills have to be paid before she can make appointments with them again. That's why we are asking if anyone can help us. She needs these appointments. We do not like to keep asking for help. Melissa is still fighting for her disability and has not received a dime. She has been fighting for five years. If you could please pray for our family and especially Melissa.
