Miss Susan Stimson Memorial Scholarship
Susan Stimson spent over 30 years of her life in the classrooms of Cupertino High, inspiring students to reach for the best in themselves. She helped them to develop critical thinking skills, writing skills to convincingly express their views, and provided an introduction to wonderful literature.
We would like to continue Susan's legacy by establishing a scholarship in her name for one or more graduating seniors who hope to have a career teaching English. She would so love knowing not only do you appreciate her but that we can help another aspiring and inspiring candidate to follow in her footsteps.
Susan Stimson and I came to Cupertino High School in the same year, 1969, and not only did we become cherished colleagues but soul sisters. I am Sister chick and she Chickster. We shared trials, tribulations, love, and laughter. Her departure leaves a deep hole in my heart. Fortunately, my darling daughter Christina was her student and experienced Sue’s grace, expertise and high standards. Together we thought it was only fitting to honor her memory with something she would approve: a scholarship. She touched and helped so many.

As a former student of Ms. Susan Stimson, I am grateful that I had the privilege to learn from her . Miss Stimson's high expectations inspired me and many others to reach our highest goals. Her love, discipline, and dedication to help each person to be their best and to help others to achieve the same. Principled and caring, Miss Stimson guided countless students to become successful, compassionate, and wonderful people. Thank you, Miss Stimson
Miss Stimson's birthday is May 20th and it would be wonderful if we can deliver multiple scholarships to honor Miss Stimson and help our fellow CHS students. Please join Mrs. Karen Lilly and me to honor a remarkable person and an amazing teacher. Thank you for your support.
