For Hope!

Children are a precious blessing that reaches beyond comprehension. They bring joy, laughter, and love among many other indescribable emotions. They are a symbol of a new beginning, a life full of potential and in the moment of their birth the definition of unconditional love. 

 

Several months ago Andrea and Scott revealed to the world that they were expecting their second blessing, and that it was going to be a girl! She would be the perfect edition to their little family which includes her big brother Kellan. Excitement grew when Andrea would feel her baby girl move and tumble about. Everything seemed fine, but as we've grown witness to, God works in ways we do not understand. 

 

Hope Andrea Hurley was born May 19 , 2015 @ 1:30 AM weighing only 1.5 pounds, she born 4 months premature. From the beginning Hope has been a fighter, hitting the important milestones of passing the first 24 hours and being placed on a different ventilator. And despite all of the odds stacked against her, Hope continues to fight!

 

Bearing witness to her battle was incredible, but left an incomprehensible feeling of being so completely helpless. But there is something we can do-donations to help with lodging, gas, food, medical bills and any other needs. Scott and Andrea are not the type to ever ask to for help, but I know they would deeply appreciate it.
