The Dan Hague Project
Tax deductible

Hey it's the holidays! I had trouble thinking of what my pops needs this season. He's overloaded on gadgets and can prodeal anything he wants. And forget about more small appliances.
We know its been a rough half year for him. Ongoing treatment for cancer and surgery on the horizon has made this season hard on Leslie and him. He needs something that he doesn't have and will lift his spirits beyond a card and some flowers.
What he needs is something named in his honor at the New River Gorge. Few have contributed as much as Dan to the climbing community and accessibility of the New River Gorge as my father. I have been in contact with Gene Kistler, the president of The New River Alliance of Climbers. NRAC is the group that builds/maintains trails, lobbies for accessibility, and cleans/rebolts routes in that area. I would like to help organize a large donation to NRAC in his name. Gene at this point has emailed the board to come up with ideas for projects. I would like to start fundraising now to present this as a gift on Christmas while he is recovering from surgery. That being said; DONT TELL HIM. Please invite climbers, friends, business partners, and family or anyone affected by his generosity in the community of climbing or Lynchburg, etc to help with the cause! I will keep you all updated on the progress. Thank you!!!
