We are raising funds on behalf of Federal Government College Kaduna Old Student Association in the United Kingdom to help our prestigious school to carry out the much-needed projects and upgrades to mark the 50th celebration and set up an endowment fund for the future.
1. Who we are:
A not-for-profit, non-political, non-religious and educational association with the below objectives amongst many from a non-exhaustive list.
(A) to further the reputation and aims of the college and to provide a forum for graduates of the college living in the UK.
(B) to see to the welfare of its members.
(C) to keep alive the fond memories every old student has in the affairs of the school by keeping members well informed of the general progress of the school while encouraging contributions, morally and financially- in suggestion/ideas towards such progress.
(D) to extend the same to FGCK, its students and its staff, encouraging its’ ideals and upholding her motto, ‘Pro Unitate.’
(E) to impact positively the society in which we operate
2. Why are we raising funds?
We are raising funds on behalf of Federal Government College Kaduna Old Student Association in the United Kingdom to help our prestigious school carry out the much-needed projects and upgrades to mark the 50th-anniversary celebration and to set up an endowment fund for the future.
Uto Ekanem, the association treasurer, is standing in proxy on behalf of Federal Government College Kaduna Old Student Association in the United Kingdom as the beneficiary.
(A) school projects: dormitory renovations, library books, water boreholes, academic sponsorship.
(B) welfare support: student, teacher and alumni hardship fund for job loss, unemployment, bereavement, sickness, marriage, and childbirth.
(C) charity support: school uniform supply, endowment fund.
