SECRET SURPRISE 50th Anniversary for Ed Cheryl!
As you know, my parents have been together for the majority of their lives. July 1st was 49th wedding anniversary. That being said, I wanted to get the ball rolling on their 50th anniversary next summer!
These two people are truly amazing and would give the shirt off their back to anyone they come in contact with. When it comes to couples, these two are the epitome of true love. My dad had eyes for my mom when she was just 14( and a half.. mom never forgets to add that!).
If you guys know my parents, you know they’re not big “party people “. While I completely understand that, I wanted to try to figure out some thing that we could do to celebrate them and their everlasting love.
Now, I know that sending them on a vacation to their favorite place in Sanibel would be costly and probably out of everybody’s budget, but I wanted to make a go fund me for them just to get away for a couple of nights at least and spend time together at one of their favorite places in Maine whether it be the Lucerne in or Downeast. Not worrying about the cost and just having time to spend just enjoying each other’s company.
Since I’m starting on this early, I thought that this would give people enough time to add a little bit here and there if they wanted to. No obligation whatsoever and even if people want to just leave a message on the go fund me page, just to say how much they love my parents would be wonderful. A dollar here or there or as I said even a message would be greatly appreciated. I will plan to see how things go and keep up and update people on what the final plan will be/where will be sending them depending on contributions.
