Who Are We?
We are Katie and Samantha, two twenty-somethings from the Chicago suburbs and we are on a year-long charity fundraising tour we call 50 States In A Year!
What Is 50 States In A Year?
It's a year-long charity fundraising tour where we visit CrossFit gyms across the country hosting events to raise money for our monthly charity. All of our events and stories from the road are being documented and shared in an online blog 50statesinayear.com .
How Does This Happen?
Through this campaign, we're looking to raise money to help cover our expenses. We've teamed up with a few sponsors but the majority of this trip is being funded through t-shirts we sell at our events and our own savings so we need your help!
What charity are we giving back to?
We've teamed up with a great company called Sweat Angels so we can give to a different charity every month. You can stay up to date on the charities we give back to and how much we've raised each month on the Charity page of our website.
**UPDATE**
We are BACK from the road and trying to get back into the swing of normal life...I am working my tail off to sell an RV and pay off the bills from the past 10 months...unfortuantely, it just hasn't been that easy.
There are many t-shirts and bracelets left over and I am definitely feeling the burden. Every little bit helps so if you didn't get that t-shirt or tank top you had your eye on before, know that you're still helping support the cause of a successful 10 months on the road giving back to many great causes.
