K2 Expedition 2023

Hello, my name is Lhakpa Sherpa, the world record holder for most Everest summits done by a woman. I have climbed Everest 10 times over two decades. I am opening this GoFundMe to raise funds for high pointing the 50 United States and also climbing the 7 tallest mountains on Earth. K2 has always been a dream of mine to summit. I attempted K2 in 2010. I made it to the highest camp where I waited for two nights for the weather to clear but luck was not on my side and I had to return without my summit. However in 2023, I returned to K2 for the second time and on July 27, I finally achieved my lifelong goal of getting my K2 summit. The next major mountain I am looking to climb is Kanchenjunga, the third tallest mountain in the world.

One day I hope to climb Everest with my two daughter's when they are ready.
