Big Dave Out For The Kids

For those of you who don’t know, many moons ago back in 1997 on my 21st birthday and accompanied by a great group of friends I went to the Big Day Out music festival. We had a great day and as it was my 21st birthday party we renamed it the Big Dave Out (BDO). Every year since then my birthday party has been know as the BDO. I have had some fantastic BDO’s over the years and enjoyed every single one of them. BDO is now an internationally renowned event with people talking about it on all corners of the globe (may not be as renowned as I claim). I feel very fortunate to be able to hold such an event each year and to enjoy it with my friends. THIS YEAR THE BDO GIVES SOMETHING BACK!I have been fortunate enough to have had good health my whole life and experience many BDO’s, every child should have the opportunity to hold their very own B(insert name)O every year as I have. For that reason I am happy to announce the first annual Big Dave Out For The Kids (BDOFTK)!BDOFTK will raise money for the Sydney Children’s Hospital to help the kids live a long and happy life of multiple 21st birthday parties as I have. What I ask is that everyone digs deep to help the kids party. Due to various reasons I will be holding BDO(FTK) a little later this year, 3rd February and I will be raising more money at the party though games and the annual BDO competition. So please do your bit between now and then and give the kids a chance at brighter future. Please tell your family and friends to give a little and hopefully at 1700 on the BDOFTK I will be able to announce a nice size donation to a very worthy cause.
