Run for World Food Programme - Humanitarian aid fundraiser
FREE ENTRY - donation on entry on the day
All runners / walkers need a ticket to participate.
On the 23/11 Kim Ferguson, owner and Director of Mo’s Desert Clubhouse is running 50km from Cabarita to Burleigh Heads to raise funds for the UN's World Food Programme (WFP)
In collaboration, Joel, Owner and Director of Ola's Clothing Supply Burleigh Heads is going to join her for the last 20km! Together, with the support of the Burleigh and Gold Coast community we are raising funds and awareness for the World Food Programme's efforts in feeding the starving people in the Middle East.
All four Directors of these businesses are parents of young kids, watching the starvation of children in Palestine has hit us hard emotionally and rather than sitting around watching it on our screens, we are keen to make some noise for the children that cannot speak for themselves.
We will be finishing the fundraiser run with a celebration at the final destination of Mo's Desert Clubhouse in El Ranchero Cocktail Garden. With live music, fundraiser raffles, donation entry, karma kegs, food truck and an afternoon of community. Families welcome.
This is an open invitation to join Kim & Joel for part of the run, the last 5, 10 or 20km into the final 'We Made It' Party at El Ranchero with a rough arrival time of 10.40am - 11.00am.
Every runner will get a pint of beer on arrival and an Ola's t-shirt for participating in the run.
Run entry is 100% donation to the fundraiser effort and will be departing at approximate times and location - you will receive further info directly about this once you have booked in.
