It is the leading cause of death in the UK in the last 10 years

Often people die within 10 years of diagnosis and as the disease progresses they rely heavily on support services. I have witnessed sufferers’ lives go quickly from moderate disruption such as memory loss and difficulty completing daily tasks to an inability to dress, communicate and eventually experiencing seizures and more. They need great deal of care and support when symptoms become severe.

I have decided to raise money to help work towards cure. I will swim 50Km in the month of November to do this.
