Jason Whateley’s Commonwealth Dream

Jason Whateley is an accomplished Australian amateur boxer. Jason has won several state titles and 4 national championship titles. He has represented Australia at 3 world boxing championships, where he recently achieved a top 8 finish in 2017. Jason defied all odds with his ‘never give up attitude’ when he achieved a top 3 finish in the Asia/Oceania qualifying event for the Rio Olympics. Not only did Jason truly earn his Olympic status, he also earned the respect of everyone in the Australian boxing game. Qualifying for the Commonwealth Games in November put Jason one step closer in achieving his gold medal dream. Jason now has one more job left to do and he needs our help to get it done. At present, the team is working hard. They are doing 3-a-day training sessions, leaving no time to work and earn a living - and unfortunately life doesn’t stop especially rent and bills. We have been absolutely blown away with the support shown during Jason’s boxing career, and we are now on the home stretch - the last leg of the race. Every little bit helps Jason focus 100% on his training camp, so he can bring home that gold medal, which you are all apart of. Words can’t describe how grateful he is. Thank you to everyone for their continued support. Let’s do this!!!
