500km Caledonian cycle for the stroke association
Dear all,
I apologies for such a late update - I finished my cycle in Edinburgh on Friday 14th of April, after a gruelling final leg of 130km in the rain. Needless to say I was very grateful to have Morty do the last bit with me as it got quite difficult towards the end - I think we would both consider the slightly warm pint of Tenants we had in Edinburgh upon our arrival as one of the best we’ve ever had! I want to thank you all for your incredibly generous donations - I never expected to raise nearly as much money as we did! I feel proud to think that the money we’ve raised will help people in the aftermath of strokes which change the lives of so many families every day. I hope that what I’ve done has also raised awareness around the great work that the Stroke Association UK does.
I’ve attached some pictures from along the way to give you an idea of the incredible beauty of the landscapes I was riding through - they really made the experience very enjoyable and even more rewarding!
Many thanks,
Louis
