I'm Walking 50 Miles in March for Nala & Cancer Research

At the end of January, we said goodbye to our sweetest girl, Nala, after 11 wonderful years. Losing her to liver cancer left an unimaginable hole in our hearts, but in her honor, we’re turning our grief into action.

Our easygoing rescue pup, Roo, has been missing his best friend, and there’s nothing that would make him happier than extra-long walks—the kind Nala couldn’t enjoy in her final months. So, as part of the ACS 50-Mile Dog Walk Challenge, our family is committing to walking 50 miles with Roo during the month of March. Every step we take is for Nala, for those humans we've lost, and for everyone still fighting.

Cancer has touched our lives in deeply personal ways, and we’re determined to make a difference. Every dollar raised will go to the American Cancer Society, a top-rated nonprofit dedicated to funding life-saving research, providing critical support for patients and families, and working toward a world without cancer.
