Hi, thanks for stopping by! I am Greg Fox and I am the Founder and Executive Director of Belly Rubs Senior Dog Sanctuary. We are in the renovation process of our new dog sanctuary but need your help!

Belly Rubs is a sanctuary for seniors and a safe harbor for heroes. We are a Dual-Mission Dog Sanctuary in the heart of a tranquil setting.

By creating families- and keeping military families together- we serve both ends of the leash. Our lush 10-acre property in the New Jersey Pinelands will soon be a final "forever home" for overlooked senior dogs and a dedicated haven for companions of deployed military members (free of charge to them).

Belly Rubs rescue dogs will play in large, enclosed spaces; run on many nature trails; and be loved by our gentle, passionate volunteers. They will have freedom and a sense of security knowing they are finally home. All our senior dogs will be available for adoption to loving homes.

Through our Be Right Back (BRB) program, we ensure that no service member has to return from deployment to the heartbreak of a lost pet. Instead, their dogs will be cared for by fellow veterans as a form of PTSD therapy, ensuring a joyful reunion for those who sacrifice the most for our freedom.

What we have done: We have secured a 10-acre sprawling property with walking trails and space to roam. We have worked through the lengthy (and costly) approval process with our local government and the New Jersey Pinelands.

Make an immediate impact: Our number one priority is to renovate and restore the dilapidated kennels on-site and continue to customize the property for the needs of our senior and military dogs. By transforming these buildings into new, clean, quieter climate-controlled living spaces, you are providing senior dogs dignity and military families with peace of mind.
