My name is Anthonee Monson for those of you I haven't met yet!
Raising money for cancer is something that is close to my heart. Both of my grandparents were taken from cancer, and I know how many people it affects every year across the world. Over the last year, my fiancé's mom, Inocencia Landaverde was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic cancer of the lungs. It has been a tough year for her, my fiancé, and her whole family, but they continue to remain strong and push forward. Although I know times are hard for many people right now, we all need a little help in our times of need. I am asking my friends, family, and strangers to consider helping out covering medical expenses, treatments, and everyday costs. Anything you are willing to donate matters. No matter how big or small!
Of course, I will be doing my part as well. Along with helping to raise funds, I am going to be running "The Cancer Kickers Big Buffalo 50". It is a 50-mile race in Memphis, Tennessee on March 21st. My goal of $5,000 dollars serves a purpose. I would be extremely grateful to raise $100 for every mile that I run in the race.
I believe in doing the hard things in life, but nothing compares to being diagnosed with cancer. It is why I believe that I can make this small sacrifice for the greater good of people that I love. It is my hope that we can all come together in solidarity for a great cause, for a magnificent woman and extraordinary family in need!

Recaudar fondos para la lucha contra el cáncer es algo muy importante para mí. Mis dos abuelos perdieron la vida por esta enfermedad, y sé a cuántas personas afecta cada año en todo el mundo. El año pasado, a la madre de mi prometida, Inocencia Landaverde, le diagnosticaron cáncer de pulmón metastásico etapa 4. Ha sido un año difícil para ella, mi prometida y toda su familia, pero siguen fuertes y siguen adelante. Aunque sé que muchos están pasando por momentos difíciles, todos necesitamos un poco de ayuda en momentos de necesidad. Les pido a mis amigos, familiares y desconocidos que consideren ayudar a cubrir gastos médicos, tratamientos y gastos diarios. Cualquier donación que estén dispuestos a hacer cuenta, no importa cuán grande o pequeña sea!
Por supuesto, yo también haré mi parte. Además de ayudar a recaudar fondos, participaré en la "Carrera de los 50 Grandes Búfalos de Cancer Kickers". Es una carrera de 80 kilómetros en Memphis, Tennessee, el 21 de marzo. Mi meta de $5,000 dólares tiene un propósito.
