5 yr old from Abaco Needs Urgent Cancer Treatment

In June 2023, a young and vibrant Rashad Bain Jr. (son of Indiana and Rashad Bain) was diagnosed with Metastatic Neuroblastoma a rare form of Cancer that affects children ages 5 and under.

During surgery in October 2023, it was discovered that instead of just one four-inch mass on the adrenal glands, there were three additional tumors in the stomach. All of which were successfully removed.

Rashad Jr. has undergone five rounds of Chemotherapy and two stem cell transplants, the latest on Wednesday, January 31st, 2024, and is recovering in the Hospital. He is projected to continue radiation and immunotherapy. RJ is currently at Nicklaus Children's Hospital, but further treatment may require a transfer to another medical institution

RJ was scheduled to start 1 of 12 Proton Radiation Treatment on Friday, February 23, 2024, for 12 weeks at Miami Cancer Institute at Baptist Hospital of Miami. The cost of this procedure is $66,560.00 of which the hospital is requiring FULL PAYMENT before treatments can begin or by his 12th treatment (March 12th).

The family is seeking financial aid to alleviate medical and travel expenses as insurance have all been repleted
