It is really important to me to raise money for the British Red Cross, to help those suffering as a result of coronavirus. Therefore, in The time span of five weeks I am climbing the highest mountain peaks of, respectively, Europe (Mount Elbrus), Africa (Kilimanjaro), North America (Denali), South America (Aconcagua) and Asia (Everest). This is a total of 33,533 metres!Unfortunately, this is not deemed as essential travel so I have decided to commandeer the stairs at home (the carpet is also sacrificing itself for this worthy cause). I will climb one peak a week, starting at 32,240 steps for the first week and ending at 50,571 in the fifth week. To put it into perspective, I shall ascend and descend our stairs 10,648 times (taking 191,673 steps...).
I would love it if you would join me in this endeavour! Failing that, please do sponsor me if you can. I am aiming to raise £2,000 and shall be providing you with Evidence in the form of time lapse videos and photos at the peaks!
