Shelter Parvo puppies need your help
.On Thursday, Save Some Souls received an urgent plea from the Harris County shelter to save a few parvo puppies, who were otherwise going to be humanely euthanized.
So on Friday, the pups were pulled out of the shelter. Harry and Ava were the most critical of the lot. It was a miracle that they made it to our vet, which is an hour away from the shelter.
However, Harry could not make it eventually and passed away in the arms of his foster mom. But Ava has started to show progress since Tuesday morning.
The pups are being treated on an outpatient basis. They are getting the much needed fluids and medication at our vet, and going home with their amazing foster mom, where they are getting a lot of TLC, and being handfed by her every few hours, to support their sustenance.
We do need help to cover their medical care so that they can continue their fluids and medicine. Any amount will be extremely essential towards their care. Along with their medical needs, they also need puppy pads that are being soiled in no time.
Please see one of the puppy's invoice for one day to estimate the whole group.
We sincerely appreciate any and all help!
Thanks so much.
