From November 7th to November 11th, I will be standing from 7am until 7pm outside of a slaughterhouse to bear witness to thousands of pigs who will be slaughtered that day for meat.
Manchester Pig Save and the other save movements around the world aim to raise awareness of the abuse and terror faced by animals every day so that people can eat them.
As part of this 5-Day Save, we'll be raising money for a pig sanctuary called Pigs in the Woods, so that they can build a new shelter and rescue more animals.
We can't save the animals heading to slaughter on these days, but we can help other animals in their name. We're asking you to help us by making a small donation towards the cost of this shelter.
