Help Corialle have a Rock Star Sweet 16!

My first child, Corialle Juliet, was born on November 6, 1997. My pregnancy was perfect! I couldn't wait to take home my Princess!! During her delivery, all I can recall is hearing CODE BLUE as my hospital room quickly filled up with doctors and staff. Cori's heart rate was low and she wasn't breathing and she passed away twice while being rushed to the NICU. I didn't get to hold my baby or even look at her before she was rushed off. She spent 13 days at the hospital with feeding tubes, heart rate monitors and had many seizures. Through her first few years shes had surgeries, minor medical problems, she always needs equipment to do the things her body wont let her. At 7 months old she was officially diagnosed with CEREBRAL PALSY.
She now uses a high tech communication device called My Tobii that has lasers that track where her eyes are looking and she uses her eyes to navigate the device to speak to us, and browse the web and play music.

The toughest part of her growing up was having to watch her while she watched other children run around and play and go out with their own friends. Still, she is the happiest girl I have ever met. Although she can't call up a friend and make plans, she's content with her family and our close friends. Her passion is music...hard rock and heavy metal. She LOVES going to concerts, falls asleep to heavy metal and her room is filled with posters and concert ticket stubs! She has the craziest sense of humor! Loves The Office, Billy Madison, Step Brothers and all the great comedy movies! Oh yeah-she loves boys too! No surprise there!!


I am starting this fund for Corialle to have a Super Sweet 16 party that she deserves. I originally planned on having a normal party at home like we always do.....until I told her and she just kept shaking her head no no no no no. I know money is tight with everyone and I cannot afford to rent a hall and provide everything else for a bigger party. Anyone who donates any amount to her fund for a rock star party, it would mean the world to us! <3
