Nate is a beloved father, friend, and grandpa who has always been there for his family and community. For the past few months, he has been struggling with some serious heart complications. Within the last two weeks, he’s been rushed to the emergency room twice and admitted after discovering a chronic condition called atrial flutter, a type of heart arrhythmia that causes the heart rate to spike rapidly and fall out of rhythm. Alongside this, he’s been managing other ongoing health issues like uncontrolled hypertension and severe sleep apnea, which have made daily life even more challenging. Despite these hardships, he continues to be a source of love and support for those around him, especially cherishing his role as “pop pop”.

He’s currently living in a house that’s become unlivable after discovering black mold, and the mounting costs of healthcare have made it impossible to afford both the medical care he needs and a safe, reliable place to call home. The stress of these circumstances has been overwhelming, but we are determined to help him get back on his feet.
