Hey everyone....this is extremely embarrassing for me, but I’ve found myself in a desperate situation and I really don’t know what else to do, other than to continue trying to pick up work and to actually ask for help. As some of you may know, I had a pretty rough go the past couple of years...not all of it was horrible, but I have been suffering with extreme depression and anxiety and a work fell off...possibly because of it...or maybe it was the other way around... At any rate, I found myself months behind with my landlord at some point and have been struggling, selling things of value, even taking a loan to catch up. I currently owe $1800 (for this month’s rent) and am scrambling to make it work. I even made arrangements to rent out my room and sleep in my sewing room starting on the 15th. Apparently, I don’t have that much time, as I was sent a 3-day to pay eviction notice, meaning if I do not come up with the full $1800 by Thursday, I have to vacate the premises. Anyone who knows me, knows that this has been my home for the last 8 years. I live and work here...I’ve made improvements and have taken care of it better than most people renting would. I am just pulling myself out of the quicksand and have almost caught up, but if I am evicted, it will be a huge blow. I cannot afford to move and will also not have a place to do my tailoring work. I’m trying, but at this point I honestly do not know what to do other than to ask for help.... If any of you can help out with any amount to help keep me here, I would be happy to reciprocate with custom clothing, tailoring work, cleaning, rides, giving you a place to stay when in need, you name it...I’d be forever grateful and definitely would prefer to work it off somehow....I just need to put out this fire ASAP....
