Please help Blaze

Hi, my name is Blaze and I am a 6 year old French Bulldog.

Unfortunately, through no fault of my own, I was handed into Islay Dog Rescue to be rehomed. As you can see by my pictures, I have a significant issue with my skin. Initially, my last mum got steroids from the vet but, although they helped a little, I still wasn't better. I never used to have any problems and the vet thinks it may have resulted from an access, but they are not sure.

Since I've been at Islay Dog Rescue I've had good and bad days. Although I've visited the vets lots and lots they have been unable to solve the problem or find the root cause. Also, although I've been eating lots I am underweight and can't seem to gain enough weight.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 14th May 2025, I have to have some surgery. This is to take biopsies which will be sent away and tested.

Everybody is praying hard that the results won't indicate cancer and I have all my little toes crossed too. My bloods are all "spot on" so I am very hopeful.

My vet treatment is expensive and although Islay Dog Rescue are committed to giving me every chance possible (cos I am a wonderful, cool dude you know), they would appreciate any help offered.
