Peter Joined the military in April 2016.
after serving a year aboard a ship out of Boston. He spent this last year in Bahrain, getting home in July. He was then assigned to "A School" in Elizabeth City North Carolina, to study to be a flight technical electrician. After a routine physical, Peter, on his wife Heather's Birthday, was diagnosed with Blood Cancer.
Only days later he was shipped to Michigan for treatment. His wife and family packed everything up and moved her to an apartment near his hospital, for the next 15 to 30 months of expected treatment.
After starting Chemotherapy Peter has been fairing well and is in high spirits, although obviously struggling and going stir crazy.
Now, 2 months into this ordeal the government shut down has cut somes branchs paychecks, this young family is now stuck in a new place, with a new apartment and a husband fighting cancer with no income!
This young man made a commitment to our country to take care of those in need.
Now is our chance to help him and his family out!
