On the morning of 29 Dec 2025, our son lost his newly constructed home due to a fire that started in the house next door and spread to his. In a matter of minutes, his and his partner’s life (Arden Amick) were turned upside down through no fault of their own.

The home he purchased just two short years ago suffered severe fire, smoke, and water damage and has been officially deemed uninhabitable. Sadly, they did not have personal property insurance, and nearly everything inside their home was lost.

They lost essential items including:

Clothing and personal belongings

Furniture

Bed and mattress

TVs and electronics

Everyday household necessities

Right now, they are displaced and starting over from nothing—without a place to live and without the basic items needed for daily life. While the structure itself will take time to address, the immediate need is replacing essentials and securing temporary housing so they can begin moving forward.

Furniture, bedding, and appliances

Temporary housing and related expenses

Essential electronics needed for daily life and work
