Jays medical journey
Donation protected
Hi everyone. My name is Kris Tuskan and I am starting this gofundme on behalf of my brother, Jay, and his family.
Some of you may know that we almost lost Jay to a flesh-eating bacteria in 2022 that has left him with wide-spread nerve damage, and the unfortunate inability to walk. As such, Jay is now in a wheelchair.
Unfortunately, Jay's health has declined yet again. After numerous blood transfusions due to extreme anemia and sudden heart failure, Jay has been diagnosed with Amyloidosis. The treatment consists of chemotherapy or a liver transplant.
As if all of this weren't bad enough, Jay is now struggling with a blood clot.
Jay is fighting the fight of his life, but with numerous appointments and chemo in his near future, his fiancé, Wendy has been unable to work the hours she normally does and will likely miss more in the near future.
We are in search of a handicap friendly home for rent but as we all know, the housing shortage is making this difficult. If you all could keep your eyes peeled, or know of anything available, please message me.
If you can, please find it in your heart to share this gofundme, donate, or send prayers. All donations will be used for accruing bills, travel, and medical expenses.
On behalf of Jay and his family, we thank you.
