Help evacuate Zain's family from Gaza
Donation protected
My wonderful friend Zain is asking for support to gather enough funds to secure a safe passage for his family from the besieged Gaza Strip. I got to know Zain while volunteering with refugees in Chios, Greece - he is funny and kind. Please read his message below, share this page widely and donate as generously as you can.

Here is his message:
The ongoing horrific bombardment has made no place safe for any Palestinian in the Gaza Strip. It is unfortunate and painful that we have reached this situation after we had a decent life and did not need anyone’s help. The situation in Gaza has reached its worst stage, where people have no choice but to die of hunger, bombing, or disease.
I am Zain Alshenbari , a 26 year old Palestinian Student from a city called Beit Hanoun in Gaza and am currently living in Berlin. I am the middle child of a big beautiful family (12 members). I am launching an urgent fundraiser to evacuate my loved ones from Gaza to Egypt and provide financial support to find a place in Egypt and start a new life. In order to get out of Gaza through the Rafah border, the Egyptian authorities are asking for an amount of $5000 per person, and we are starting by raising enough for the evacuation of 4 family members. If possible we will raise the target later to $55000 for all 12 members.
Help us restore hope to get them to safety before its too late.
Here is some information about my family
My brother, Malek Al-Shanbari, lives a very difficult life with his family (pictured below before the war). His wife, Wafa, his four-year-old daughter, Aylul, and his son, Zain, who is only four months old. His wife gave birth to him inside the tent to which he was displaced in the city of Khan Yunis, after they were forced to flee to the south of the Gaza Strip. They are now in the city of Rafah after the Israeli army targeted their tents with missiles, and his daughter, Aylul, was injured, and his wife’s mother, father, and brother were killed.
Khaled Al-Shanbari, his wife Kifah, and their children Mahmoud, Moatasem, and Nour have fled to Deir Al-Balah in the centre of the Strip, after the Israeli army destroyed their house and forced them to move to the south. Today, The city of Deir al-Balah is also threatened with a ground invasion.
Marah Al-Shanbari is the mother of two children, Ahmed, who is four years old, and Abdullah, who is two years old. Her husband, is currently in Egypt receiving treatment. Marah and her children are currently in a tent in Deir Al-Balah in the south.
Muawiyah Al-Shinbari is a father of three children. He lost his eldest son, Uday - 6 years old. He wants his other children to have a better life that can be achieved by leaving the Strip. Gaza to Egypt to start a new life with his family.
All of them wish and pray for safety and a chance to escape this brutal war, and to rebuild their lives. Please donate and share this page, to get my beautiful family the money they need to cross the border into Egypt and find safety.
