Support Lily's Journey to Safety

Hi, my name is Shayna. I am 21, and I am raising money for my friend Lily, who is 17 and still in high school. She has been neglected by her mom and stepfather her whole life, but there is not enough evidence to be able to get police involved. She has been denied showers, has a low food source, is not taken care of hygienically because her parents won’t buy products, and is threatened to be hit and denied being picked up from school. Her dad hides her personal things to try to make life as difficult as possible for her, and he has turned off the water. She hasn’t been able to get a job due to not having a car and license, and her parents won’t support her. She wants to move out and be independent, away from the abuse and neglect she’s faced. I’ve been trying to help get her out of the house as much as I possibly can despite being a college student and part-time worker at a minimum wage job. I’m trying to raise enough money for a car and a little extra to get her on her feet and out the door completely. Any help would be greatly appreciated! All donations will go completely to her.
