Help for my family

Hello friends!

First, thank you all so much for the donations and shares to help my family. We all appreciate it very much.

Unfortunately their circumstances have changed and things have gotten worse.

Their landlord has decided not to fix the hole in the roof, and so there is no reason for my family to repair the inside of the bedroom on their own dime as originally planned. He has also decided he no longer wants to rent, and has asked them to vacate.

We all know the cost of rent is worse than it has ever been, add to that the cost of moving itself (deposit, fees, movers) and they need your help more than ever!

Please, if you are able, any amount of a donation would be more help than you might think. We would also appreciate a share of this fundraiser to get the word out for this family that needs some help right now.

Hello friends!

I've put together this GoFundMe to help out my brother, sister in law and nephews. The recent insane storm we had a few nights ago sent a tree through the roof of their apartment. The rain poured in soaking the ceiling, and down it came. This all happened right over top of where my 16 year old nephew was sleeping, thankfully by some miracle he wasn't hurt!

Unfortunately the landlord has no homeowners insurance and no money for timely repairs, which is bad news for my family. Nothing is covered and some important items have been ruined due to the water pouring in, including my nephews entire bed. Right now the boys bedroom is unliveable, and anything that wasnt ruined has been moved into their living room. The repairs for the bedroom will be coming out of their own pocket due to the landlord not having any insurance. To top it all off, 2 days after the storm my nephew was playing hockey in gym class and another kid checked him into the wall and broke his collarbone! Poor kid doesnt even have his own space to heal until they manage to fix the bedroom.
