Hi there! My name is Amanda McCauley and I am writing this on behalf of my lovely friend, Kellie Griffith. Kellie started experiencing migraines and dizziness, then early in December, Kellie had gone to Comcast to return equipment in the midst of moving into her new home, and walked into a wall. From there, she ended up in the ER. What started as a small incident, ended up in Kellie finding out she has Stage 4 Glioblastoma. Brain cancer. As you can imagine, this came as a shock for Kellie. Her life changed instantly. Kellie had surgery on 12/15/2021 to remove what they could, and then began radiation and chemotherapy on 1/26/2022. Due to these unprecedented times in Kellie’s life, Kellie is currently out of work which is causing financial hardship. Not only does she now have hospital bills, but also the cost of her treatments which includes $2,400 copay for chemotherapy, and then she will also be starting an Optune clinical trial which can cost up to $21,000 weekly. Kellie is a kind soul, she loves her kitty cats, and one of her hobby’s include planting butterfly gardens. The last thing Kellie needs is to be financially burdened by this and I have offered to help her create this GoFundMe in hopes to alleviate some of the financial stress and hardships that she is unexpectedly facing during this time. Not only does Kellie have to pay for all of her treatments and medical bills, but she has other month to month living expenses. Any donation big or small can help.
