Hi my name is Laurin Hunt, I’m very close to the Hillestad family! On the night of Wednesday, January 3rd, their house caught fire due to an accident spill of gas in the basement. They later found out that their basement, dining room and most of the first floor was ruined. The upstairs fortunately was barely touched by the fire, but everything is covered in a thick layer of smoke and very wet. Most of the things in her house will not be salvageable due to smoke and water damage. They just received news that they will not be able to move back in for 5 months.It would mean the world to The Hillestad’s if you were able to donate any money! The father of the home recently lost his job, Every penny really counts in this time of need.
