Christmas gifts for children in Guatemala

Vamos Adelante (a registered US 501 (c)(3) non profit organization) has worked for 20+ years to promote education, health and nutrition among the poor indigenous population of Guatemala. My friends and I have collected and packaged toys for the children served by Vamos Adelante for several years. We usually travel there in early December to hand out gently used and new toys to 2000 children in 4 remote villages. Due to COVID, we did not go in 2020 and we can't go this year. We have the toys, but no way to get them there if we don't accompany them. I'm raising money so that Vamos Adelante can purchase toys and special treats (cereal, cookies, marshmallows, raisins) for the children and their families so that Christmas will be special! Even $5 or $10 helps! We are looking forward to going with our huge bags of toys in 2022, but for this year, we'd like to make a plea for monetary donations. Thank you!
