My name is Ruba, a Palestinian Australian living in Perth, and I am raising funds for my cousin Noha Nabil Abu Elkhair and her family in Gaza.

Their home was completely demolished in the recent attacks. They have lost everything — their shelter, belongings, and sense of security — and are now struggling just to survive.

Out of respect for my cousins’ privacy and dignity, I will not be sharing faces. I hope you understand this choice, and I am deeply grateful for your compassion and trust.

Right now, Noha and her family face not only the daily fight for food, water, and medicine, but also the urgent need to evacuate to the north of Gaza to find safety. The costs of evacuation and survival are staggering:

• $1,500 AUD – transport out of danger zones

• $1,000 AUD – new tents (old ones cannot be carried north)

• $1,000–$2,000 AUD – rental of a small piece of land to set up shelter

On top of this, they urgently need food, clean water, and medical care. Every day brings new hardships, and they have nothing left to rebuild with on their own.
