C&T Recovery after major vehicle accident
Donation protected
Our family is seeking the public’s help to raise funds for our cherished Sister and her 22 month old Grandson, who both had to be rescued from the recent high speed collision that occurred on Sunday Oct 20, 2024 in Northeast Edmonton, caused by a drunk driver in a stolen vehicle, barreling through a red light at a speed of 150km/hr and hitting them on the passenger side. The vehicle they were in was rolled over by the impact. The driver of the Blue Elantra was our Sisters friend who was also injured by the crash.
All were taken to the U of A Hospital Emergency Ward for emergency treatment. As of this writing, our sister is still in Hospital. Her severe multiple injuries are still being treated and will require significant convalescence in the months to come. The baby appears to be unharmed physically at this time but will need monitoring for any ill effects in the coming months.
All the members of our family have been traumatized greatly by this.
Truly and extremely blessed beyond measure that no body was killed by this accident, we like to believe that our sweet Poppa we lost last year was watching over them and that they’re still here to breathe another day.
We have started a Go Fund Me page as there will be recurring medical costs, loss time of work, recuperation and many other expenses and challenges. The effects are life altering and the journey to recovery will be extensive.
We would be extremely grateful with immense gratitude for any and all of the public’s help in supporting them in their long recovery.
Super kind thanks!
