On July 14th, 2025, my 19-year-old son, Shateek, was shot in Queens, NY, in his back and is currently paralyzed. I'm a mother who already lost an 18-year-old son two years ago due to gun violence and I thank God every day that Shateek is still here and given a second chance at salvation.

I'm trying to get my son home with me in North Carolina and get all the things he needs, one being a proper bed among other equipment. Unfortunately, during this difficult time, people have stolen over $3,000 from him, and agencies that I won't mention have not followed through as they stated they would. This is my last cry for help because my son is being discharged next week from rehab. I am asking for any help you can give or offer.
