On December 8th, Lyndee's eye started to get irritated.. a trip to the eye doctor the following day resulted in a dismal diagnosis, an appointment with a specialist, and a few days off work... and so much pain, pressure, and swelling in her eye that she was unable to see out of one eye, and terribly straining her other eye. Fast forward a few weeks and she is still battling this infection that's been getting worse and changing daily. Countless trips to specialists, most recently over an hour away (huge thank you to her friends and family for taking her, as she is not able to drive) and she is still not able to go back to work, and requires hourly eye drops, with no option of a deep sleep for much needed rest. The poor girl is MISERABLE For those of you that don't know, Lyndee is a single mom to 3 little sweethearts and she is a full time medical assistant at an assisted living facility. As you can imagine she runs this family on a budget and not being able to work doesn't allow for basic funds to pay the bills, put food on the table, and deal with mounting medical bills. It looks like she's going to be out of work for the next month, and short term disability doesn't kick in until after she's off for 2 weeks, and even then it's only a portion of her income. Let's send her a holiday miracle and help reduce her stress (which is a major factor in allowing her to heal). Any amount helps... let's show her some love my friends!!!
