On November 16 of 2017, I had surgery to remove a very large tumor(thank God it turned out to be non cancerous). After spending a few weeks in the hospital after surgery, things turned for the worst. After surgery, my bowels was obstructed. I had to have a very complicated second surgery. Unable to eat for a month, I lost almost 30 pounds. Currently, I am unable to provide for my most basic needs as I am weak. This week I am living without heat or hot water during the coldest month of the year. On top of dealing with past due bills and two surgeries, I am temporarily disabled. As a result, I have had to file for bankruptcy. I feel as if I have lost who I am and my life. My only wish is to return to work so I can provide for myself and support my twin daughters through college. I never would have thought that I would have to go on go fund me for help. However, this is my last hope. I pray everyday for a better 2018.
