a desperate need.

Hi, my name is Linda (Lin) Wickham. I am sorry to have to ask for help, but I must. I have recently been actively looking for employment, and the good news is that I was offered two jobs, both of which were great, and exactly what I was looking for. I had already accepted one of the positions, did all the paperwork, learned about payroll periods, etc. when I became ill...very ill. I was hospitalized for seven days with double pneumonia and a severe sinus infection during which time, both job offers were rescinded. I understand their need to employ someone quickly, but it makes it pretty rough for me. I would have received my first check the day before my rent was due. As it happens things are about as dire as they can be. If the money isn't raised very quickly, I may be homeless by the end of the week. The money will be used to pay my rent and buy food. The cupboards are pretty bare. If you are unable to donate is would still be a tremendous help if you will share this request. Thank you so very much.
