My sister Robyn lost partner of 15+ years earlier this week. They have known one another since they were 19 and 21. Their decades long friendship and partnership was abruptly ended when he passed suddenly in their home this past Monday. My sister is currently sifting through their joined finances and trying to make sense of what it will mean to suddenly shift from a dual income to one, all while grieving the sudden loss of her best friend.
