Fight 4 Porkys Backyard BBQ & Smokehouse

I read a facebook post tonight that didnt settle right with me and decided that someone needs to help them!
Why is Chrystal Parker trying to sell her beloved car in order to help pay court fees? Ones that have been piling up against her and her husband, Lonie Parker who own Porky’s Backyard BBQ & Smokehouse. 
Well, there is a person who doesnt want Porky’s to be open. Without going into all the details, it has been an uphill battle for these restaurant owners that is being taken to Supreme Court. 
Im sure it is hard enough being a restaurant owner. One that is family run, moved into a new location, trying to offer breakfast, lunch and dinner AND than throw a Covid-19 into the mix, but they survived!!! 
Even better, during the uncertain months of the Global Pandemic they gave back to the community!! Chrystal, Lonie and staff kept Porky’s open. They gave out FREE meals to essential workers; truckers, health care staff, teachers, postal workers, etc! As well as giving out meals to struggling families!
In the past I have seen Porkys host all sorts of events, from Halloween & Christmas parties, birthdays and reunions, Paint n Sips, car shows and live band concerts. 
This community needs and wants a place like Porkys to stay in business!
While I have eatten at Porky’s as well as picked up take out on the way home a few times, my hope is that by starting this gofundme page others will get the opportunity to try them out or keep supporting them!
I do believe that now it is OUR turn as a community to help this restaurant STAY OPEN!! Chrystal and Lonie have given out so much, they shouldnt have to sell their car to fund these legal battles!
