4x4x48 Challenge Supporting: Bundle of Joy Fund

The weekend of 3/4/2023 I’ll be running the Goggins 4x4x48 Challenge (4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours) to raise money for The Bundle of Joy fund.

The Bundle of Joy Fund provides monetary grants for in-need couples struggling with infertility. The funds assist with the costs associated with IVF and other fertility treatments through various clinics throughout the US. The cost of fertility treatments are expensive and depending on tests, rounds, medications etc., the cost can add up quickly, oftentimes requiring out-of-pocket payments.

So why The Bundle of Joy Fund?

This is a cause and charity that is extremely close to my heart. IVF is what ultimately brought, my wife Lauren and I, the two greatest joys of our lives, our boys Cannon & Callan. And although we were blessed not to have the financial struggle associated with IVF, we realize that’s not the story for most. Fertility challenges are hard enough, but to face the emotional and bodily toll at the same time as having to undergo a financial strain feels doubly unfair.

This challenge will be just that - a challenge, but I know it fails in comparison to the challenges of those I’m running for. If raising money & completing this challenge helps grant just the right fertility treatment for a couple and/or better yet helps bring the miracle of another child into this world - I’ll be so incredibly proud.

For every dollar donated, I will personally be matching it.
