4x4x48 Challenge for Elohim

Donation protected

Hello everyone. First and foremost, we want to thank everyone who contributed to our cause and helped make this mission a reality. Connor and I were able to visit the Dominican Republic. We can’t express enough how much we valued our experience there. We learned so much in only a week, met some amazing people, formed relationships that we still hold strong today, and so much more. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

While we were in the DR, Connor and I were assigned to the Mens Sports ministry site. We spent most of our days at baseball practice with these amazing young men. They taught us so much about the simplicity of life, gratitude, and what a team is all about. We hope we impacted their lives as much as they did ours.

That being said, the equipment and facilities these boys have access to are nothing like what we have in the United States. The playing field has scattered grass, pebbles everywhere, trash in the field, and limited seating for spectators. Let it be known that this doesn’t slow them down one bit. These kids have a true passion for baseball and becoming the best they can be on that field. They work very well with what they have. However, Connor and I feel that they deserve so much more.

The batting cage that the boys practice in every day has a dirt/pebble ground that can definitely be improved. When hitting baseballs every day into the dirt and rocks, the life of the baseballs isn’t long at all. Not to mention they are already limited on the number of baseballs they have, and most of which we wouldn’t even bother using in the United States. While we were there in the DR, the coach for the boys, David, mentioned to me that they had been looking into getting them a new floor for the batting cage so that the baseballs they have will last longer. I asked him how much that would cost and he said roughly $4,000. I told him that if I could help make that happen, I would.

This is where Connor and I come into play. We are setting out ONCE AGAIN to run the David Goggins 4x4x48 challenge. Yes, this is an annual event, this year it will be on March 4th to the 6th. So, our goal this year is to help raise enough money to get the boys in the DR a new floor for their batting cage. We hope you decide to help us on this journey and appreciate any donation that you can offer. Please stay up to date with us as we have a lot in store for our upcoming event that you won’t want to miss. Thank you in advance!
