Firefly Cancer Support

This year I kindly ask that instead of presents and cards you join me in making a difference? I'm raising Awareness and Support: Firefly provides free transport to the people in the borough of Doncaster and Rotherham who require cancer treatment in Sheffield.

They are a non profit charity and rely on heavily on donations. Firefly have a fleet of nine vehicles that operate daily. The upkeep is costly.

We never know when Cancer is going to visit us and affect our lives. The transport is free and from your home to the place that you are having treatment. When treatment is completed, they will continue transporting you to appointments.

The Firefly team are amazing. Very supportive and many have experienced cancer themselves. I found no longer having the financial and physical stress of attending Weston Park Hospital invaluable. Attending five days a week and for weeks takes its toll both physically and financially. Not everyone has support, I had amazing support from family and friends. I will always be endebted to Firefly. Cancer is life changing, this amazing Charity needs to be in every town and city. Please give what you can.
