Flood cleanup

Donation protected
On January 6, 2022 Aberdeen Washington experienced significant flooding, with large portions of the town recieving damage.
By 6 am, there was enough water inside my home to be ankle deep. By 4 pm, the water had risen to about 7 inches inside my living room and the carpet was lifted and floating. The entire lower level, about 900 SQ feet, was submerged, and the roof started leaking. My chicken coop was floating, and we had to wade through flood water to rescue them. Thankfully everyone is safe!
When I purchased the house last year, I was told this side of the river never flooded, so I didn't get flood insurance. None of the damage repairs needed are going to be covered by my home owners insurance.
For anyone who knows me, it's RARE that I will ask for help. But I need help. To keep the damage from turning into a toxic mold situation, I have to get all the wet stuff out fast. As of now, we need to remove at least 1-2 feet of sheetrock and insulation around the perimeter of the rooms to make sure there's no water inside, remove all the soaked carpet/pad, and haul out all the waterlogged furniture.
If we do most of it ourselves, I'm estimating $5000 to rent a dump trailer, pay disposable fees, purchase new sheet rock & insulation, and have the roof patched. Likely it will be more as I can't get up on the roof and will need to hire someone for that part.
Thank you for considering helping!
