I just want to tell you a little about my sister and her family. My sister is a hard working widow. She has served in the USAF Reserves for 16 years. Last December her husband was killed in a motorcycle accident. He left behind my sister and their two wonderful boys. It has been a rough year with out having him in their lives. Well, last Wednesday, my sister lost her 10 year old son in a tragic accident. Our whole family is heartbroken and devastated. Kristian was a very happy little boy who brought joy and laughter to anyone who knew him. He loved doing and teaching others MMA, hanging out with friends, and just being with family. He was a straight A student who always had a smile on his face. This tragedy has left so many people broken hearted. His personality was so big you couldn't help but know he was in your presence.
So many people have been asking our family what they can do to help. A mother at Kristian’s school really thinks we should start this campaign to help pay for his funeral expenses, and help with the many obligations my sister has while she takes the time she needs to grieve and spend time with her only son. My sister is a very private person and this is difficult for her. She would appreciate the help, but would never ask for it.
