When it rains it pours. Nobody knows this more than our amazing friend Jemma.
After falling down a flight of stairs and getting the all clear from the first hospital after a couple of days, she went for a second opinion elsewhere only to find out she had a broken neck and 3 broken ribs. The break and head trauma has caused nerve and brain damage. This has caused loss of ability to write properly without help, memory loss, complete loss of hand-eye co ordination and she has lost 30% vision in her right eye.
Barely unable to walk, she has to take at least three months off work and has mounting medical bills.
On top of all of this physical pain, there is a stack of emotional pain. Jemma's mum is in her final stages of leukemia, any day could be her last.
This page has been created by her friends to ease some of the financial burden, so Jemma can concentrate on her recovery and her mother at this very trying time.
