In need of help

Hello, My name is Damian and I am Type I diabetic. In the beginning of 2019, I was laid off. With loss of insurance coverage, I’ve had many issues with my diabetes with using low end insulin. I landed new jobs but with no despair, I was laid off from them throughout 2019. During mid-year of 2019, I was found unresponsive and was rushed to the hospital with an induced coma several times due to taking over the counter insulin which was causing me to get extremely ill with my diabetes. My job at the time had to release me since I didn’t call when I was in an induced coma. With that being said, I have fallen behind on my car payments by 3 months and am about to lose my car, I can’t pay my rent and am about to be homeless. I’m currently looking for a job, but it hasn’t been so easy in Florida especially with unemployment at its lowest. I have had many accounts go into collections and my life is literally turning out to be a nightmare. I just want to get back on my feet and get caught up on bills/my life. I have applied for Medicaid, financial help, and food stamps, but it is taking a long time for my applications to be reviewed and/or approved. So, I’m trying to do things myself, but no good news yet. I’ve cut off a lot of things that I was paying for that wasn’t necessary also. But still need money to get by and hoping a new job is in my near future with all the applying I’ve been doing. If I wasn’t diabetic, I wouldn’t be as concerned but I am. I have racked up over $25,000 in hospital bills already and am just trying to get well and make a living with a potential new job. I don’t ever ask for help and it was hard for me to even set this page up and swallow my pride. Anything will help and appreciate anyone who can help by any means.
