Well, after 6 months of my tango with cancer I have surgery tomorrow to remove the tumor. I've heard all sorts of estimates on a recovery time from 6 weeks to 10 weeks; regardless it'll be another two months before I can head home to Hawaii.
The funds will go to cover rent and food for the rest of my stay in Portland.
This experience has really taught me that it's okay to ask for help and so thats what Im doing. Any contribution helps and I will of course be forever grateful.
