Help me make it through this

LAST UPDATE: Thanks to all of you, we hit the goal and my housing is safe!!! Belle will be going to the vet to get her leg checked out. I cannot thank you all enough for helping us. Most of you haven’t even met us, but your generosity knows no bounds.

2nd UPDATE: SO CLOSE TO THE GOAL!!! Thank each and every one of you for helping me through this rough time. I know most of you have never met me, but just know you each have a special place in my heart. Our community is amazing and may everyone find the same love and help in their time of need.  

UPDATE: So much closer to the goal! I had a long conversation with my apartment manager who decided that since he will not be in the office dice Monday he won’t file the eviction paperwork until Tuesday. This means if I can make the rent by then I won’t get evicted. I cannot express how much your help means to me. Thank you for everything-funds, boosts, love, literally EVERYTHING!

Hello everyone, I’m Nick and I never wanted to do one of these. Unfortunately my life has taken a very dark turn in the last 8 months. I have lost my family, my wife, my world. Then the last week has completely broken me financially and emotionally. I am to be evicted if I cannot make rent by August 25 (thank goodness they gave me another week!). On top of this, Belle (my everything) needs to be seen by the vet for an issue for her back leg. I have tried applying for second job and third jobs, to no avail. I don’t have a car to drive, so Uber/Lyft/DoorDash are out of the question as well. If anyone can help, please please do.
